When the Indian Tsunamis hit in December 2004, it triggered one of the greatest humanitarian crises in recent history. The world quickly responded, as a testament to the character of the human spirit. Mackenzie went to his studio and began an emotional journey guided by the raw intensity of this event .and emerged later with "The Rescuer", a single iconographic character depicting a solitary act of humanity. This imagery, like millions of isolated stories of aid, have created a tapestry of caring, a weaving of the greater good done by people all over the world.
